Dear Colleagues,

the Faculty Federation has received reports from some members of the faculty and ESU that the additional compensation for their overload teaching in Fall 2025 has not been processed.  The Federation intends to discuss this matter with HR so, rather than bringing just these anecdotal reports,  it would be helpful to know how many people have had their ad comp request processed and seen the money in their pay, and how many people are still waiting despite this being the fourth week of the semester. Also, for those still waiting for the money to appear, if you can report where the delay is – is it with the Dean’s Office, the Provost’s Office or HR — that would be enormously useful information. Finally, if you have reached out to HR with questions about your ad comp can you tell us how many emails or Salesforce tickets you submitted and whether HR responded to you with useful information.

I would like to have this data in hand before the next meeting between the Federation and HR so please provide your information before next Wednesday, October 8. Also, please be assured that anything provided to the Federation will remain confidential, the Federation will report aggregate numbers and comments at the meeting without attribution. Please reply to Grant and Stacey.
